Huron Consulting Group Adds Records Management Experts

Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ:HURN), a leading provider of financial and operational consulting services, today announced that April L. Dmytrenko and Douglas R. Magnuson have joined the Company as managing directors in the Legal Operational Consulting practice. As records management experts, they will help clients address escalating demands of archiving and accessing information for legal purposes, including compliance and litigation.

Documents are proliferating, and the fact that we are closer to being paperless only means that organizations must address how they manage all electronic content, including emails and documents, said Gary E. Holdren, chairman and chief executive officer, Huron Consulting Group. In putting forth best practices, April and Doug will be making an invaluable contribution to our clients who are facing growing records management challenges.

Dmytrenko, a Certified Records Manager, has more than 25 years of experience in advising companies on records and information management issues. She comes to Huron from Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she served as vice president of Studio Relations & Information Management. Dmytrenko established enterprise-wide Records & Information Management (RIM) programs to address records retention policies, electronic document management systems, and other information services.

Dmytrenko has also held senior level roles at a number of international organizations and boards, and is a tenured author and speaker in the field. She received her BA from California State University, Fullerton. Dmytrenko, a member and fellow of ARMA International (Association of Records Managers and Administrators) and a member of AIIM (Association for Information and Image Management), will be based in Hurons Los Angeles office.

Magnuson comes to Huron with more than 25 years of experience in business process design, change management, and systems improvement. A technology specialist, he has developed information management strategies, provided guidance on selection process for technology vendors, and assisted with the design and deployment of content management systems and processes.

Before joining Huron, Magnuson founded and served as president of Carefree Technologies (now Integro), a records management company. He also held positions at Coextant and Andersen.
