Richardson Announces Annual Meeting of Stockholders and Web Conference Availability

Richardson Electronics, Ltd. (NASDAQ: RELL) announced that the Company’s annual meeting of stockholders will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 3:15 P.M. CDT at the corporate headquarters in LaFox, Illinois. Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, Edward J. Richardson will host the meeting and will be joined by Kathleen S. Dvorak, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. At the meeting, stockholders will vote on the directors standing for election and ratify the selection of Ernst & Young LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm for fiscal 2010. In addition, a presentation will be made on the Company’s performance.
