Trained retriever hunting pup up for auction by Houston Rotary Club

All bids are tax deductible and 100% of proceeds support local charities

HOUSTON, TX, February 02, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The Downtown Rotary Club of Houston has announced they will be auctioning a prized retriever pup to the highest bidder.

100% of proceeds from this auction will be given to charities sponsored by the Downtown Rotary Club of Houston and is tax deductible.

Gator comes from an outstanding bloodline and will be the perfect retriever in the field, in a duck blind, and inside the home.

Both his Sire and Dame are small-framed successful competitors in the AKC Field Trial and Hunt Test worlds. When not running against the most talented retrievers out there today or hunting waterfowl, they have remarkable off-switches and both live inside their homes.

The Sire of this incredible puppy was the Top National Amateur Field Trial Champion of the World in 2021. His name is NAFC-FC Bristol's North Slope Ptarmigan. This stylish Field Champion was bred to a local Texas Master Hunter Champion and Gun Dog – Little Blessing of Matagorda Bay MH.

At birth, Gator was the largest puppy in his litter. He quickly became the strongest, bravest and feistiest explorer among his brothers and sisters. As soon as his eyes opened, Gator was introduced to water, birds, and fun puppy retrieving. At 7 weeks old, he was enrolled in the prestigious boarding school and renowned retriever Training Facilities of Best Retrievers, owned by National Champion Trainers Rody and Kristin Best. At Best Retrievers, Gator has lived in a loving home; learned proper puppy etiquette; been crate trained and potty trained; socialized with children, adults, other dogs, and an assortment of pets; conditioned to water and retrieving on land and in water; introduced to inclement weather, loud noises and gunfire; and most importantly gained a solid puppy obedience training foundation.

Gator will be an amazing gift to the fortunate family who adopts him – whether he works as a gun dog in a duck hunting family or becomes the newest member in a home filled with children – whether he is certified as a therapy dog to help others in need – whether he competes in Field Trials, running distances up to 600 yards for a single bird – whether he joins the circuit of the Super Retriever Series or enters the Hunt Test World. Gator can do it all!
