Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 2, 2013, SEACOR Holdings Inc. issued a press release announcing an agreement with Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. for the construction of Liquefied Petroleum Gas tankers (Very Large Gas Carriers, otherwise known as VLGCs) and related matters. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
