ITEM 5.02Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On September 5, 2018, Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Gordon K. Helm will retire, effective October 1, 2018, from his position as Vice President and Controller of the Company.  Mr. Helm, age 61, joined the Company in 1991, was appointed Controller in 1993 and has been Vice President and Controller since 2008.    Following Mr. Helm’s retirement, Mark W. Smith, the Company’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will serve as the Company’s principal accounting officer.
