TD Bank Financial Group Comments On Expected Impact of
TD Banknorth Inc.’s Third Quarter Earnings

TORONTO, ON October 25, 2006—TD Bank Financial Group announced today that it expects TD Banknorth’s third quarter earnings to translate into fourth quarter net income for its U.S. Personal and Commercial Banking segment of CDN$63 million.

TD Bank Financial Group will release its fourth quarter financial results and webcast its quarterly earnings conference call live on the internet on Friday December 8th, 2006. Conference call and webcast details will be announced closer to the date.
