On July 26, 2018, Monro, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2018. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
| Item 8.01 | Voluntary Disclosure of Other Events |
The Company also announced that it had completed the acquisition of Sawyer Tire Company, which added eight retail locations in Missouri, and signed a definitive agreement to acquire seven more locations. Both acquisitions fill-in existing markets. Further details of these acquisitions are contained in the press release furnished as Exhibit 99.1.
Finally, the Company announced its collaboration with Amazon.com to provide tire installation services at the Company’s retail tire and automotive service centers. Further details are contained in the press release furnished as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
