On September 27, 2006, ChoicePoint Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the appointment of Carol A. DiBattiste, a named executive officer of the Company, as General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer of the Company and the appointment of J. Michael de Janes as Chief Data Officer effective as of September 26, 2006. A copy of this press release is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8–K and is incorporated by reference into this item 8.01.
