On August 14, 2007, Shinhan Financial Group (“SFG”) filed the 2007 1H Business Report (the “Business Report”) with the Financial Supervisory Service of the Republic of Korea (“Korea”) pursuant to the Securities and Exchange Act of Korea. 4)   On July 13 2007, Shinhan Bank acquired an additional 20.2% of SH Asset Management from minority shareholders and as a result, the bank’s ownership in SH Asset Management increased to 99.97 %.
