On July 21, 2017, Brainstorm Cell Therapeutics Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) has awarded the Company a grant of $16 million to support the Company’s Phase 3 study of NurOwn®, for the treatment of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The foregoing description is qualified in its entirety by reference to the Press Release filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto, which exhibit is incorporated herein by reference.
