On October 5, 2006, New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (the "Company") announced in a press release that it will report financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2006 after the close of market on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. On Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern, the Company's executive management will host a conference call and audio webcast highlighting the Company's third quarter financial results. The conference call dial-in number is (302) 262-2140. A copy of the press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
