On September 18, 2006, New York Mortgage Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company's Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.14 per share on its common stock, par value $0.01 per share, for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 payable on October 26, 2006 to shareholders of record on October 6, 2006. A copy of the release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated by reference herein.
