NICE Systems Announces CFO Leaving to Take Another Position

 

Lauri Hanover Will Join Lumenis Ltd. In August As CFO

 

Ra`anana, Israel, May 3, 2004 - NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE), a worldwide leader of multimedia recording solutions, applications and related professional services for business interaction management, today announced that Lauri Hanover, corporate vice president and chief financial officer, will be leaving NICE in August 2004 to become the chief financial officer of Lumenis Ltd. A search for a new CFO has already begun and the Company expects to make an announcement in due course.

 

"We appreciate the significant contribution Lauri has made to the Company during the past three and a half years and I wish her success in her new position," said Haim Shani, president and CEO of NICE.

 

Eran Porat (CPA), the Company`s corporate controller for the past 4 years, will be promoted  to VP finance, reporting to the CFO, and  will be responsible for  the Company`s controller, budgeting and treasury functions. Eran`s deep involvement in all of the Company`s financial functions will enable a very smooth transition.
