J. M. Smucker reported revenues of $2.22 billion, up 5% year on year. This print exceeded analysts’ expectations by 4.3%. Overall, it was a stunning quarter for the company with a beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and an impressive beat of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

Best known for its Grown in Idaho brand, Lamb Weston (NYSE: LW) produces and distributes potato products such as frozen french fries and mashed potatoes.

Lamb Weston reported revenues of $1.77 billion, up 5.6% year on year, outperforming analysts’ expectations by 4.8%. The business had an exceptional quarter with a beat of analysts’ EPS estimates and a solid beat of analysts’ gross margin estimates.

Weakest Q2: Hain Celestial (NASDAQ: HAIN)

Sold in over 75 countries around the world, Hain Celestial (NASDAQ: HAIN) is a natural and organic food company whose products range from snacks to teas to baby food.

Hain Celestial reported revenues of $263.1 million, down 27.6% year on year, falling short of analysts’ expectations by 2.2%. It was a softer quarter as it posted a significant miss of analysts’ gross margin estimates and EPS in line with analysts’ estimates.

Hain Celestial delivered the slowest revenue growth in the group. As expected, the stock is down 9.3% since the results and currently trades at $0.56.

B&G Foods (NYSE: BGS)

Started as a small grocery store in New York City, B&G Foods (NYSE: BGS) is an American packaged foods company with a diverse portfolio of more than 50 brands.

B&G Foods reported revenues of $383.3 million, down 9.7% year on year. This print lagged analysts’ expectations by 3.5%. Overall, it was a mixed quarter for the company.

The stock is down 10.7% since reporting and currently trades at $3.05.

BellRing Brands (NYSE: BRBR)

Spun out of Post Holdings in 2019, Bellring Brands (NYSE: BRBR) offers protein shakes, nutrition bars, and other products under the PowerBar, Premier Protein, and Dymatize brands.

BellRing Brands reported revenues of $570.4 million, up 4.2% year on year. This result surpassed analysts’ expectations by 3.7%. However, it was a softer quarter as it logged full-year EBITDA guidance missing analysts’ expectations significantly and a significant miss of analysts’ EBITDA estimates.

The stock is down 30.5% since reporting and currently trades at $9.00.
