This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an epic lineup of films, music videos, and new media projects that showcase the creativity and passion of filmmakers from around the globe.

This year, SacFilmChallenge has upped the ante with exciting new events, including a Film Mixer at New Helvetia Brewery, a Breakfast Meetup for filmmakers, and an exclusive Professional Filmmaker Discussion featuring two powerhouse guests:
● Cricket Sloat – A seasoned Camera & Electrical Department/Instructor, Cricket is celebrated for her work on major Marvel films like Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Infinity War, and Captain America: Civil War.
● Jay Holben – An award-winning independent director/producer based in Los Angeles, Jay is renowned for his recent feature Before the Dawn and his involvement with the American Society of Cinematographers Motion Imaging Technology Council’s film The Mission and author of The Cine Lens Manual.
Screenings and Awards: SacFilmChallenge will feature select films at Futures Explored in Sacramento, providing both virtual and in-person audiences the opportunity to experience groundbreaking work from emerging and established filmmakers.
