Graphene is a new compound in the car detailing world. Made up of pure carbon it has shown in multiple tests just how strong and special it truly is. You put graphene inside of a car detailing product like a liquid wax and you have an efficient way of not only giving your vehicle and excellent shine but also a way of applying a layer of protection. The perfect example is this brand by the name of Detail Medic who has a “Graphene+Ceramic Liquid Wax”. With something like a liquid wax, you would just want to apply a few drops to your pad, whether it be a hand applicator pad, or a pad fit for use on a rotary machine and dab it across the panel in which you’re working on and then work the wax into your vehicle’s surface. Letting the wax sit and go through its flashing process, you’ll see this happening as the wax applied to your vehicle should start to haze up and once that happen it will be ready to buff off with a microfiber towel.
The reason infusing graphene into automotive detailing products like this works is because with something like this liquid wax for example, The wax itself gets worked into the pores of the paint and also on top of the paint so any graphene that’s in the product will then start to bond to the vehicle’s surface even after the actual wax portion of the product wears off.
This works the same way with any other graphene-based products like sprays and soaps. Once they’re applied the graphene will start to bond to the surface of whatever it’ll applied to. The reason it’s so great inside of something like a wax is because it with the wax you’re really working the product into the paint and really forcing that bonding process. So you’re waxing and giving your vehicle a glossy and shiny finish from the process of waxing but you’re also giving it a protective layer that will last for months to come from just about anything you’ll come into contact with out in the elements and on the road!
