The fastest growing art scene, NFTs, gains a new dimension with a physical product line inspired by human stories. For their debut “influencer collection,” Wearable NFT Art worked with travel bloggers and National Geographic authors, Mike & Anne Howard of HoneyTrek.com and Argentinian artist Santi Soulas, to create three graphic designs inspired by the couple’s decade-long honeymoon around the world. “We knew that the Howards’ incredible story, Santi’s artistic talent, and HoneyTrek’s 340,000+ social media followers, were the perfect recipe for a successful NFT art collection,” says Natalie Smith, co-founder of Wearable NFT Art.

Wearable NFT Art is one of the first companies to turn NFTs into a physical product line and the HoneyTrek Collection is among the few NFTs created by travel influencers. “Mike and I have thought about creating HoneyTrek swag for nearly a decade, but never wanted to just slap a logo on a t-shirt,” says Anne Howard of HoneyTrek. “So when Wearable NFT Art asked us to create an NFT and travel gear collection with their resident artist, we knew this was the perfect way to finally offer our fans, and anyone with wanderlust, a more meaningful piece of our story.”

Mixing photography and graphic design, each artwork is completely unique, yet speaks to the transformative nature of immersive travel and a journey powered by love. There are only 10 of each NFT design (30 total), each minted at 0.3 Ethereum (ETH). The team at Wearable NFT Art chose ETH for its commitment to environmental sustainability and steps to reduce each transactions’ energy consumption by ~99%. Everyone who supports this digital art will be given their choice of a t-shirt or a tote & tumbler along with their NFT, and 10% of profits go to charity. Each product design integrates a QR code that scans through to the actual NFT on Rarible, allowing anyone to view or bid on the art, giving the gear an interactive component that also bolsters the value of the NFT.

“I’ve long been a supporter of crypto and NFTs for the power they offer people around the world, especially artists, to be masters of their own finances and creative expression,” says Mike Howard. “We're honored to help support an Argentinian artist like Santi and environmental and social nonprofits (NRDC, The Bee Conservancy, and FLYTE) with the success of these designs.”

This limited-edition NFT art & travel gear sale runs through midnight Pacific Time on Monday, August 23rd, with the products opening up for individual purchase from August 24th - 29th.
