Angie Quesnell, MS, CCC-SLP and mentor with Infinity Rehab, will lead an upcoming clinical education webinar on telehealth hosted by the International Network of Physiotherapy Regulatory Authorities (INPTRA). The webinar takes place on May 7 at 4 p.m. EST.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, physiotherapy practice and training are pivoting to accommodate training for students. As tele-rehabilitation emerges, training for students must account for telehealth in clinical education.
Quesnell has been working in telesupervision for nearly six years. Because of current circumstances, academic programs are working to comply with accreditation standards, assisting students with meeting their requirements on time. Angie was asked through a meeting with faculty at the University of California to share telesupervision implementation tips and suggestions. This led to her participation in the INPTRA webinar on telehealth.
Attendees can look forward to hearing Quesnell’s experiences in telesupervision as it relates to mentorship. She will highlight relevant resources and expand on opportunities for inter-professional practice within telesupervision.
