The app is mainly aimed at credit officers, accountants, insurance providers and finance brokers for business risk assessments.
"The aim was to bring companies house database search, commonly known as 'companies house beta' to the mobile. The official Companies House app had not been updated in a while and it lacked features such as allowing users to download a company's filed documents.
The app sources the data from Companies House' official public API and aims to provide a more user-friendly, feature-rich experience", according to H Rashid, the app's developer.
The app had a limited, soft launch earlier last year and received positive reviews with 4.5 stars rating on both Apple and Google app stores. After the beta launch and extensive testing, the app has now been made available to everyone.
The app is available on both Apple and Android platforms.
