HealthStream Expands Resuscitation Offerings with Exclusive Distribution of Leading Neonatal Education Program: the S.T.A.B.L.E. Program

HealthStream (Nasdaq: HSTM) announced today that it has entered into a partnership with the Park City, Utah-based S.T.A.B.L.E. Program to offer healthcare providers an updated, online option for completing their internationally recognized neonatal education program. The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program focuses on improving the knowledge and skills of each member of the perinatal healthcare team that provides care to both well and sick infants. Since 2001, more than 600,000 neonatal and obstetric healthcare providers have completed a S.T.A.B.L.E. Program learner course in an instructor-led training session. Through the new partnership with HealthStream, the popular S.T.A.B.L.E. Program will now be available online, exclusively from HealthStream.

Among the approximately four million births in the U.S. each year, thousands of newly born infants become ill and require specialized care. The early transitional care affects not only the immediate health of the infant, but also the infant’s long-term outcome. Dr. Kristine Karlsen, creator and director of the S.T.A.B.L.E.
