Fuze Appoints Rob Scudiere as Chief Technology Officer

Fuze, the leading cloud-based communications platform provider for the modern global enterprise, today announced the appointment of Rob Scudiere as the company’s chief technology officer. In this role, Rob will oversee the company’s global engineering and technical operations, with a focus on building world-class products that deliver an exceptional enterprise communications experience for our customers.

“As employee expectations continue to evolve and enterprise adoption fuels our company growth, a chief technology officer that is both creative in innovation and effective in execution is critical to our continued success. As the leader of our technology team, Rob will help identify new ways to improve upon our offerings, with a customer-first, security-minded approach,” said Colin Doherty, CEO, Fuze. “Rob’s deep technical experience and proven track record in roles at high-growth companies make him an excellent fit to continue to drive Fuze’s culture of innovation.”

Scudiere brings more than 20 years of experience leading SaaS product development, digital transformations, and operations at public and private technology companies. Most recently, Rob was senior vice president of engineering and chief information officer at Secureworks (NASDAQ: SCWX), a leading provider of software-driven security solutions, and previously held leadership roles at Verisign (NASDAQ: VRSN) and Guardent through its acquisition by Verisign in 2004. He has also held positions at several high-tech and financial services companies including Razorfish, Digitas, and Fleet Financial.

“Fuze’s history of innovation in the UCaaS market and leading role in the future of work movement, with its specific focus on the enterprise, makes joining the team especially exciting,” said Scudiere. “I look forward to working with the Fuze family to ensure organizations are equipped with enterprise-grade technologies that deliver the flexibility employees need to be productive, while empowering IT with the security and management they demand.”

Focused on ongoing technical innovation, Fuze recently announced it was awarded a patent for advanced machine learning that applies skills-based routing to internal employee networks.
