New data suggests Waymo is king of autonomous cars, with GM making big strides

Alphabet self-driving car spinoff Waymo continues to lead the pack in autonomous car testing in California, completing some 352,000 miles on testing on public roads in 2017, according to new data out this week from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
