Edward Mazzu Jr. thought he knew what he’d be doing for the rest of his life. He had worked his way to the top echelon of the ironworker trade and was a connector, a job he loved and excelled at. As one of the people connecting beams at the top of a building under construction, he loved the thrill and attention from onlookers.
