UPDATE 1-Stifel to buy Lehman's former U.S. brokerage unit from Barclays

June 8 (Reuters) - Investment bank Stifel Financial Corp said it would buy Barclays Plc's U.S. wealth and investment management unit, which is the former brokerage arm of Lehman Brothers.
