Frenchman killed in Algerian operation on gas plant - minister

PARIS, Jan 18 (Reuters) - A Frenchman was killed when the Algerian army stormed a gas plant to free hostages held by Islamist militants, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said on Friday.
