April 8, 2022 – Michelle Dickey is the founder of Consulting for Heightened Awareness, a faith-based consulting practice that specializes in abuse recovery. She has been a mentor for survivors of abuse for over seven years and her business takes her work to the next level with God’s wisdom. She is a consultant, coach, trauma specialist, published author, and spiritual advisor. Her trauma training was obtained from the Arizona Trauma Institute. She has a bachelor’s in criminal justice, a master’s in forensic toxicology, and is obtaining a Ph.D. in forensic psychology.
Consulting for Heightened Awareness focuses on positive psychology and spiritual healing to help survivors overcome the trauma associated with abuse, helping them find and keep their inner peace. The services help survivors learn to regulate their emotions and Michelle does not engage in re-traumatization by poking and prodding. Clients choose what they want to discuss and what they want to start working on. Each experience is unique to the survivor, although patterns of abuse are the same, so there is no one-size-fits all approach.

The business foundation is highly spiritual and makes real-world connections to help people put things into better perspective to gain a deeper understanding of why people experience the abuse in the first place.
