Alice Daena has exhibited across the continent with books, fabric, and art; she has 400 self-published books in the last year. Miss Daena's books art designed from the 7000 paintings she has created in the last fifteen years. Her idea was to use her artwork as illustrations for books.
She has been very successful with book sales and enjoys working as an author. After working a lifetime as an artist, Daena has moved from children's books, devotionals, and western art books to more serious illustrated books such as “Ukraine heroes,” which she just published last month.
She first decided to write books after exhibiting in New York, where they wanted to publish for her. She decided then that she would start writing her own books.
Daena enjoys her work as an author because she just loves to create. The first book she wrote was “On the Way to Butterfly Gardens.” which was aided by a friend called Chey. That encouraged her to take off on her own writing books, and it has paid off.
Daena finds writing and illustrating books a great and exciting challenge. She has just published a book called “Trump Illustrations” which is on sale on Amazon. Daena had never dreamed she would be an author. It just came about through experience, and today she finds it her biggest motivation.
