Semax 10 mg endotoxin report, lot CBR-SMX-260403-001: 15.5 EU per vial, 40 EU per vial threshold, PASS. Crescent Bioresearch

The endotoxin certificate for Semax lot CBR-SMX-260403-001 reports 15.5 EU per vial against a threshold of 40 EU per vial. It carries the lot number, report number, test date, sample description and laboratory signatures that tie the result to the vial.

ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 22, 2026 — Crescent Bioresearch, a supplier of laboratory compounds, has published the Semax certificate of analysis for lot CBR-SMX-260403-001. The endotoxin result is 15.5 EU per vial against a threshold of 40 EU per vial. The certificate carries five entries that connect that figure to the vial it describes.

Semax, also known as MEHFPGP and ACTH(4-7)-Pro-Gly-Pro, sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro, CAS 80714-61-0, is supplied by Crescent Bioresearch as Semax 10 mg for laboratory research.

The endotoxin line

BTLabs, an independent laboratory in West Palm Beach, Florida, tested the lot on July 30, 2026, with the gel-clot Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) test under USP General Chapter 85, Bacterial Endotoxins Test. Endotoxin is the lipopolysaccharide that forms the outer layer of Gram-negative bacteria, and the test counts it in endotoxin units (EU). The 10 mg vial was dissolved in 3 mL and measured 15.5 EU per vial against a 40 EU per vial threshold, with a lysate sensitivity of 0.25 EU/mL, and passed. The result equals 1.55 EU per milligram and stands at 39 percent of the threshold.

Five entries that tie the number to the vial

The lot number. The page names lot CBR-SMX-260403-001, and the vial label carries the same lot number. If the two do not match, the certificate does not describe the vial.

The report number. The page is report IF-824-QSA-TR006-BTL261029-06, a reference that identifies this document and ties it to the laboratory that issued it. A screenshot or a row in a supplier’s table carries no report number.

The test date. The test was performed July 30, 2026, and the date separates this result from any earlier or later test on the same lot.

The sample description. The laboratory recorded a small clear vial, white sample, silver crimp and white plastic cap, and a research entity can hold its vial next to that description.

The issuing laboratory and signatures. The page names BTLabs, gives its address and is signed by two of its scientists. A result with no identified issuer cannot be verified with anyone.

What the five entries do

Endotoxin certificates circulate as images, as rows in summary tables and as files copied from one product listing to another. A number cut loose from its lot looks exactly like a genuine one, and a certificate copied onto the wrong product, or left online after its lot has sold out, is wrong in a way that nothing on its face reveals. The five entries above are the means of telling. The Semax certificate carries all five.

A school exam shows the same thing

A teacher hands back a score sheet that reads “82, pass.” The passing mark is 65, but the sheet has no student name or ID on it. The score may be real, but no one can say whose exam it was. Without the name, the score cannot be tied to any student.

An endotoxin certificate works the same way. The Semax certificate carries the lot number CBR-SMX-260403-001, the same number printed on the vial. It also carries the report number, the test date and the laboratory’s signatures. Together these tie its result, 15.5 EU per vial against a threshold of 40, to that vial and no other.

Why the number itself must be there

Once the certificate is tied to the vial, the measured value is what the research entity uses. A result of 15.5 EU per vial can be compared with the threshold, converted to 1.55 EU per milligram, compared with other lots and held against the research entity’s own limit. A certificate that reports only a pass, even with every identifier correct, proves the right vial was tested and says nothing about what was found in it. The number, matched to the right vial, is what lets a research entity say its results came from Semax and not from endotoxin carried in with it. The Semax annotated endotoxin report marks these entries.

“A certificate that cannot be matched to the vial does not describe the vial,” Crescent Bioresearch said. “One that matches but carries no measured value does not describe the endotoxin.”
