Research Advances in Embryo Genetics, Male-Factor Infertility and More to Improve Clinical Processes and Outcomes Across the Fertility Industry

Everleap Fertility, a leader in fertility care and assisted reproduction, will deliver 19 scientific presentations at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Annual Scientific Congress & Expo in Baltimore, Maryland, October 24-28. The Annual Congress is the premier global meeting for professionals in reproductive medicine, infertility, contraception, menopause, and embryology, and showcases the latest innovations advancing reproductive medicine.

Everleap reproductive endocrinologists, scientists, embryologists, clinicians, and researchers will present studies examining topics ranging from endometrial thickness and cycle cancellation to the impact of maternal obesity on embryonic aneuploidy. Other topics explore third-party reproductive services, predictive modeling, fertility insurance mandates, access disparities, and more. They will be joined by colleagues from Everleap’s parent organization, IVI Institute (formerly IVI RMA Global), and Illume Fertility, a recent addition to the Everleap network, whose researchers were also selected to present at this year’s conference.

Topics from Everleap Fertility research scheduled for presentation at the Congress include:

  • The relationship between maternal obesity and embryonic aneuploidy among patient’s undergoing IVF with preimplantation genetic testing for aneuploidy (PGT-A).
  • How live birth outcomes and euploidy rates among men with severe oligospermia where surgically retrieved sperm was used during IVF compare.
  • The clinical considerations involved in canceling or proceeding with frozen embryo transfer for patients with thin endometrial linings.

“The research being presented this year at ASRM reflect our commitment to examining questions that matter to patients and clinicians and translating these insights into meaningful advances for patients while improving our understanding of reproductive medicine,” said Dr. Thomas Molinaro, Chief Medical Officer of Everleap Fertility. “Several of our key studies this year strengthen the evidence that informs clinical decision-making and provide opportunities to personalize patient care.”

Including the U.S., IVI Institute contributed an impressive 55 scientific presentations, showcasing the depth and breadth of IVI Institute’s efforts to better understand the science behind fertility and its ongoing commitment to advancing reproductive medicine on a global scale.

“One of the greatest strengths of our research program is its direct connection to the patients we serve,” said Christine Whitehead, MS, BSN, RN, Director of Research Operations at Everleap Fertility. “Much of our research is generated from within our own network of clinics, allowing us to investigate questions that are directly relevant to our patient populations. Just as importantly, we have the opportunity to bring those findings back into the very practices where the research originated, informing clinical decision-making, strengthening patient counseling, and ultimately helping us refine care for the patients we serve today and those who will come to us in the future.”
