Capital Square, a leading sponsor of tax-advantaged real estate investments and an active developer and manager of housing communities nationwide, today announced that Tamara Darling has rejoined the firm as managing director, Northwest sales. Darling will lead relationship development with broker-dealers and registered investment advisers across the Northwest, including Washington, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Northern California. She reports directly to Jessica Correnti, executive vice president of distribution and national accounts.
“Tamara knows how financial advisers think about alternative investments,” said Louis Rogers, founder and co-chief executive officer of Capital Square. “She has spent nearly 25 years building relationships with advisers across broker-dealer and RIA channels. Her education-led approach fits the way Capital Square engages with the adviser community. Helping advisers understand tax-advantaged investment strategies is central to our work.”
Darling serves as a registered representative via JCC Capital Markets, LLC. Previously, she served as director of national accounts at 1031 Crowdfunding, where she focused on relationship development and educational outreach with RIAs, family offices and other professional channels. Earlier in her career, Darling served at Capital Square as senior vice president, Southwest sales and senior external wholesaler, where she helped drive distribution across broker-dealer and RIA channels. Over the course of her career, Darling has raised more than $1 billion in equity as an external wholesaler and participated in more than $2 billion of capital formation.
“We are glad to welcome Tamara back to the sales team,” said Jessica Correnti, executive vice president of distribution and national accounts. “She brings a level of expertise and service that our wealth distribution partners value, and a sales record in this industry that speaks for itself. The Northwest is an important market for Capital Square, and Tamara is the right person to lead our work with advisers there.”
Darling holds FINRA Series 22 and 63 securities licenses.
