California American Water Hosts Free Water Conservation Workshop

Customers Can Learn Techniques to Create a Pollinator-Friendly Garden

Consistent with the mission of California American Water to enhance our natural ecosystems, and in partnership with the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District and the Water Awareness Committee, California American Water is hosting a free, interactive seminar for local customers.

On November 14, from 6-7:15 p.m., the free, interactive workshop will teach about pollinator-friendly gardens and how to create an oasis for birds, bees and butterflies. The class will discuss the role of native plants in supporting wildlife and factors that threaten pollinator and bird health.

“This free, online workshop is another in a series of fun and interesting classes we promote to help our customers protect our environment and enhance our community,” said Chris Cook, local Director of Operations for California American Water. “We encourage our customers to take advantage of this and other seminars which help conserve water and help our local ecosystem.”

The workshop will be presented online by Green Gardens Group. To register, click here. For more information about water conservation, click here.
