CELLCOM ISRAEL LTD. ANNOUNCES SALES AND
SERVICES VP RESIGNATION FROM OFFICE

NETANYA, Israel, December 18, 2011 – Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (the "Company") announced today that Mr. Meir Barav, notified the Company of his resignation from office as the Company's sales and services vice president, after seven years of successful and extensive tenure. Mr. Barav will continue to serve in office until his successor is appointed and assumes his responsibilities.
 
Mr. Amos Shapira, the Company's CEO thanked Meir Barav on behalf of the employees, management, board of directors and shareholders of the Company for his contribution to the Company and added that Meir Barav successfully led thousands of employees in providing quality services to the Company's customers, daily, within the highly competitive and dynamic Israeli telecommunications market. Mr. Barav's success is best demonstrated in consumer organizations reports indicating the Company's higher quality services as compared to its competitors and in the simple fact that over the last years, more customers choose the Company.
