On February 20, 2018, Transocean Ltd. (“Transocean”) announced that it along with its wholly-owned subsidiary Transocean Inc. had received all necessary regulatory approvals to commence the compulsory acquisition of all remaining shares in Songa Offshore SE that are not already owned by Transocean.  A copy of the press release announcing the commencement of the compulsory acquisition is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8‑K and is incorporated herein by reference.
