On April 21, 2014, Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. issued a press release announcing its plan to submit a New Drug Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration by year end 2014 for the approval of eteplirsen for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
