SIGNIFICANT EVENT
As disclosed in Articles 9 and 10 of Law 18,045 Banco Santander Chile informs that in an Ordinary Board Meeting held on January 24, 2006 the resignation of Juan Colombo Campbell was accepted. This position in the Board will remain vacant until the following Board Meeting.
