On December 10, 2009, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of NewMarket Corporation (the "Company") approved, effective January 1, 2010, a base salary of $600,000 for C.S. Warren Huang, President of Afton Chemical Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
