On December 15, 2005, Utah Medical Products, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has been notified by the Department of Justice that the Government is not appealing the U.S. Federal District Court’s October 21, 2005 dismissal of the FDA’s lawsuit against UTMD. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1
